Notes: The study shows that species traits and landscape structure influence how interactions between plants and birds affect multiple habitats in New Zealand. The authors found that native birds with traits like generalism and large body size play a key role in connecting different habitats, especially in forests. Plot data from NVS were used to produce the plant distribution maps used in the study.
