Notes: A network of 216 permanent vegetation plots established along an elevation gradient was used to measure the influence of the 1994 Arthurs Pass earthquake on growth and survival of trees in beech forest. This long term dataset, established and measured four times in the 20 years before the earthquake and remeasured three times during another 20 years following, is stored in NVS.
